This is an in-depth explanation of the family/friend scam. A scammer will tell you their quitting or something and that they want to give their pets to someone trusted. They'll have you go somewhere before asking you to trust trade a friend to test your trust. The catch is that they'll make an alt account that resembles your friend and will have that account trade you instead of your friend. Assuming you think your trading your friend, you'll actually be trading the scammers alt your pets and inevitably get scammed by them. Be careful when you suspect something too good to be true
