Why do only some players have a new feature?

Modified on Wed, 11 Sep at 11:16 AM

When working on a new idea or possible future update, we like to test it with a small number of players to see if it's a good idea. When this happens, you might get access to a new update, different price options, or even different rewards for in-game tasks or events - or see other people sharing them on social media. If you haven't seen us post about it from our official @PlayAdoptMe social accounts, then it's very likely to be one of these tests!

When will the new update I tested come out?

Because these are tests, many ideas need a lot more development time before they can be released. Testing often shows us the idea wasn't as good as we hoped, and we cancel development on it completely. The only way to know when new updates are confirmed is to follow our official @PlayAdoptMe social accounts.

How do I get access to these tests?

Test participants are chosen at random, so there's no way to guarantee you will be part of the test. Don't trust anyone who tells you they can get you in or offers links to testing, beta servers, or games. You should only play the official Adopt Me game run by Uplift Games.
