There is no way to restrict an account from purchasing items with Adopt Me Bucks or Robux, so ensure you are certain when purchasing anything within Adopt Me!
Items that cost Robux will have a confirmation screen. If your account does not have enough funds to buy the item, you may buy additional Robux to cover the purchase, and Robux not spent towards the purchase will be credited to your account.
For parents: Please ensure that your child has permission to purchase items costing Robux in Adopt Me and supervise your child when they make purchases for Robux.
Parents and guardians can enable various settings to help ensure that Robux is not purchased without your consent or knowledge:
iTunes and Apple Store
For Apple devices, please see the following article from Roblox Support.
Google Play Store
To enable purchase approvals for devices that have downloaded Roblox using the Google Play Store, please see the following article from Google.
Windows App/Xbox
You can set up a password to ensure purchases can't be made without your consent. Please refer to this article from Microsoft.
Monthly Spend Restrictions
Parents can enable a monthly spending cap for their child's account under 13 years old (or under 18 years old in South Korea). This requires a parental/guardian email address and a Parental PIN on the child's account.
To enable this, please see this Roblox Support article.
We here at Adopt Me Support cannot reverse or refund purchases made with Robux that were accidental or made without your permission. For further information, please see our article on the subject.
For additional information on using the Roblox platform for purchases, please visit Roblox's Terms of Use here. Information can be found under Section 3.
