I'm unable to trade! What happened?

Trade Ban


If your account has been banned from trading, you will see the message "Trading has been blocked on your account due to illegal trade activity." This means we have discovered trades on your account that have violated the Adopt Me or Roblox Terms of Service. Reasons for a trade ban include:


  • Cross-trading
  • Gambling
  • Using services to buy and sell Adopt Me items
  • Using illegal exploits


Adopt Me has the right to permanently restrict an account's trading access without prior warning, depending on the severity of the offending actions. If you want to appeal your trade ban or request more information, please submit a ticket using our Support form. 


Please note that we can only investigate permanent bans further, and we are unable to remove or adjust the duration of temporary bans.

If you receive the above message when attempting to trade, this occurs when our system detects an anomaly in your trading activity and can pick up false errors, assuming you may have duplicated your item. Please contact us using our Support form so that we can investigate and remove this restriction.
